Class Meetings today – Sophomores:  9:30 a.m., Freshman: 1:00 p.m.

Please remember to turn in your Emergency Form and Personnel Policy Handbook Receipt as soon as possible.

Student Announcements:

The first Drama Club meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, September 8^th, after school in the auditorium.  Officer elections will be held.

The Drama Club’s Fall Play will be the hilarious murder mystery spoof “The Butler Did It” by Tim Kelly.  Auditions will be Wednesday and Thursday after school.  Sign up at Mr. Braidman’s Room.

The STRHS Student Council would like to welcome you all back at the Black Light Dance on Friday, September 10.  It starts at 7 pm and the cost is $4.   Wear a white shirt or you can purchase a t-shirt from Student Council.

What did you read this summer?  Get ready to share!  Your Summer Reading Book Billboard is due next Thursday, September 9 during Homeroom.  Local businesses have been very generous and we have some great prizes for the winning Billboards including gift certificates to the Summer House, Tucker's Restaurant, Zanto's, the Daily Grind, Mrs.
Murphy's Donuts, the Southwick Florist, Barnes and Noble and a 2011 SCANNER Yearbook.  Top prize is the awesome Amazon Kindle!  Guidelines for your Book Billboard were given out in June and are available on the school website at www.strsd.southwick.ma.us.  Click on the High School Tab and then click on Summer Reading.  Printed copies of the
guidelines and poster boards are available in the Prew Library where you can check out some sample Book Billboards on the bulletin board.  Remember, your Book Billboard grade will count as one test grade in your English Class.
